On The Lam

West country farmers

Beware, Bo Peeps offering

Lamb feeds. Tally them after!

n.b. The difficulties of weaning are something a male will never fully appreciate. However, I have been advised gentle encouragement and patience is welcome during an emotional time for the mother and offspring.

Ewes on the otherhand cannot wait to get their young onto grass ASAP. Seeing a ewe being latched onto simultaneously by a pair of fast growing lambs looks very rough; imagine two toddlers jumping head-first into a bouncy castle.

n.n.b. “On the lam” a homophone…on the run, (apologies for stating the bleating obvious).
