n.b. The tumbling of hot and cold air in cumulonimbus clouds produces powerful charges, sometimes compared to the power of atomic bombs. Why are we not comparing atomic bombs to the power of thunderstorms? The catastrophe of the atomic attack on Hiroshima was 1/10th of the power generated within a thunderstorm.
