Lockdown 2 (Day -3): Norwich

2nd November 2020

As details of the plan to lockdown the whole country again in the latest off the cuff developments from the government emerge, I take a moment to think about what has changed since we were freed up from the first lockdown in the summer. There has been a lot going on.

I find myself studying at the University of East Anglia. I have rented a modern flat in the centre of Norwich for the coming twelve months. I have met some lovely people who are also studying creative writing. I carry my broken heart just skin-deep. I have several new friends. I live alone.

The weather has been abysmal this weekend and today it continues in that vein. Cool and wet.
