Tier 4 (Day 9): BBC

There is a national crisis. Hospital admissions are increasing, Covid-19 related deaths continue to mount up. Hospitals are becoming overloaded and losing staff to illness. the usual causes of admission in a less than healthy nation continue.

Her Majesty’s Prime Minister gave an interview to the BBC in which he said that he is “reconciled” to having to impose tighter restrictions in the next few weeks. The Leader of Her Majesty’s Opposition has called for an immediate tightening of restrictions. The National Education Union has said that it is currently unsafe for teachers and school staff to work in school buildings – at last stepping up and invoking health and safety legislation.
