n.b. I’m sure we’ve all done it, misread the promise of a sunny morning to venture out in hope, before finding bright sunlight doesn’t always keep its promises.

This peacock butterfly was suffering by the time of January’s last sunset.

n.b. The mechanical measure of time slips into insignificance when daylight is secondary to moonlight. The corvids, atop the high trees, will let you know when it’s time to move.
