L3 (Day 60): On The Quay

It is six p.m. and the day’s light withdraws reluctantly at the ignition of the street lamps. Fish are snapping through the meniscus of the Wensum. They leave soft rippling circles that are eventually smoothed by the thickening dusk. Another lighter, but cold day. ~ CLP 07/03/2021
