n.b. North-east USA is choking on the smog from seasonal forest fires in Canada.

International cooperation is the only way to tackle climate breakdown. How have we reached a point where there are wars at a time when we need to act to address the challenges of an overheated planet?

Is it because there is much money to be made from supplying munitions and no one can see a short-term gain from dealing with problems that creep up over generations, rather than in Financial Years?
