No doubt appreciate his elevated view
Of the Fine City
While picking and placing pieces
Of the luxury apartments
Into the creeping wall
Development that is enveloping
The south side of the Wensum
Shadowing the swans
Egyptian geese and those of Canada
Casting a pall over the mallards
Darkening the winter gloom
Shutting out the stars
