n.b. NaPoWriMo 2024 Day 6: Weird Wisdom.

“Good morning, team. From today, everyone starts with a clean sheet.” Don’t kid yourself, institutions don’t change just because there’s a new face in place. Look at the un-elected House of Lords in London. It is unelected for a reason, i.e. to stop The Commons from actually changing anything that could threaten those who hold all the keys to the kingdom.
