of Moscow’s henchmen
the eyes of Europe and the USA
are now distracted
by tennis, cricket, football, ice hockey, the Stanley Cup, baseball and Olympics
games to replace conflict
with civilising pastimes
now acting as smokescreens

n.b. In previous wartimes, games were suspended, but now having loaned Ukraine $50 billion, plus interest, the ‘free’ world can kick back and relax. The $50bn will be recycled into the arms factories of the ‘free’ world, who will profit, as will their economies, from the $50bn recycled due to Ukraine’s need for defence and armour munitions. Russia meanwhile laughs at the Geneva peace talks, with a proposal to end the war, should Ukraine retreat, rather than be beaten back.

All the money in the world will not bring back the dead of Ukraine, Russia, Gaza and Israel.
