then add some fine flour
just enough
to absorb the onion milk

squash the garlic
under the blade of a broad knife
before removing the husk
then chop the crushed clove
to release the flavour

choose a single iron pan
tempered, oiled
large enough for the ingredients
to be spread out evenly cook
to save on washing up
