I cannot write from afar
Of genocide
I cannot write from home
Of starvation
I cannot write from here
Of murdered children and mothers
It is happening, I hear of it
Nothing more can I add
To what the TV shows
All I plead is for peace
For humanity to apply humanity
to end the inhumanity
No flag, no border
Can justify this
