Ghosts (ii)

Christopher Perry

Aug 4—2025
Poetry
Sometimes they come at night
Not always singly, but in pairs
At ease, with smiles
Talking about mundane things
Without axes to grind
Here’s the first, then his mother
Circling like sharks
At ease, with their smiles
