on Ukraine

now the neighbours are worried
about how this violence that has been contained within our doors
is spreading onto the street
the big guy is losing control
lashing out at anyone nearby
screaming in frustration
digging up old grudges
inventing betrayals
pointing fingers
blaming everyone
but himself
for this
mess
