squinting as the bus rolls by
casting its shadow on the glare of glass
another locked up shop
stripped of its fittings
mail still gets pushed through the chained front door
junk and official post gathering in the thickening dust
an ineffective skimming of white wash to the glass
provides the background
to a final thoughtful message from a member of the staff
